Psychedelic-Informed Counseling
Supportive, one-on-one counseling for those incorporating psychedelic-based treatments into their mental health care.
What Is Psychedelic Therapy?
Psychedelic-informed therapy is a therapeutic approach that supports individuals in processing, reflecting on, and integrating experiences from psychedelic-based treatments. These sessions are intended for people who are using legally prescribed psychedelics—such as ketamine—or participating in clinical trials involving psychedelic medicine as part of their mental health care journey.
This form of therapy provides space to explore the thoughts, emotions, or memories that may have come up during a psychedelic experience. EHN’s individual sessions are guided by licensed professionals who understand the unique challenges and insights that can emerge during psychedelic treatments. The goal isn’t to interpret or explain your experience for you—it’s to help you make meaning of it in a way that supports your personal growth, emotional well-being, and a return to life on your terms.
Does Psychedelic-Integrated Therapy Work?
Psychedelic experiences can vary, some bring clarity, while others raise new questions or surface past pain. Without therapeutic support, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or uncertain about what to do with those insights.
At EHN, our counselors are trained in psychedelic-integrated therapy through accredited, evidence-based programs. They provide real care backed by clinical expertise that bridges the experience itself and the work of long-term healing. Whether you’re experiencing emotional breakthroughs, distressing memories, or a desire to shift behaviors, counseling can help you explore these areas with care and intention.
This work may be especially helpful for those in trauma recovery, managing depression or anxiety, or seeking to deepen their self-awareness within the context of recovery. We go beyond the surface to support meaningful, measurable progress.
Is Psychedelic Treatment Safe?
Yes—psychedelic-informed counseling is designed with emotional and psychological safety at its core. Sessions are grounded in harm reduction and trauma-informed care, ensuring you’re met with support, not judgment.
EHN does not administer psychedelics as part of these sessions. Instead, our licensed counselors will meet you where you are, working with those who are receiving psychedelic-based medication under medical supervision. Counseling may focus on preparation for treatment, post-session integration, or emotional processing between treatments.
We prioritize:
- Your autonomy: You decide what to share, when to share it, and how far to go.
- Informed support: Our clinicians bring expertise without assumptions.
- Long-term wellness: We focus on translating insights into sustainable mental health and meaningful daily change.
